Shri. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister of Finance,, Govt. Of Tamil Nadu Inaugurated and Addressed at (Jito) Jain International Trade Organisation, Chennai and Talks of How Tamilnadu is Prepared to Tackle Economic Recession

Chennai-based entrepreneur Ramesh Dugar was installed and has taken charge as the 8th Chairman of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Chennai Chapter for the term 2022-2024 besides Nehal Shahas Chief Secretary, along with other executive committee members recently.

The installation ceremony was held recently in Chennai in the presence of Tamilnadu Finance Minister Sri.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan.

Sri.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan lauded members of the Jain International Trade Organization for their contributions
for the past several centuries through its corporate social responsibility, charity and support initiatives for the benefit of the poor and needy people, and talks of how Tamilnadu is prepared to tackle the economic recession

“We have to appreciate the Jain community and acknowledge its contributions.

The support of the Jain community people to help the needy is remarkable.

The Tamil Nadu government also is working in a similar way with policies that are equitable and compassionate towards the people,” Mr.PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan said speaking at the 8th installation and oath ceremony of Jain International and Trade Organisation (JITO)- Chennai Chapter, held in Chennai recently.

Minister told the members of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) that the Tamil Nadu State government is well prepared to face a recession that may hit the economy at a global or national level. “I am happy to note that the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Chennai Chapter has won a national-level award for its industrious and productive work for the cause of society. Like, our State government also is flexible and adaptive. We constantly assess where the risks are coming from….. I can assure you that the TN Government is already prepared to face any challenges that arise due to economic recession, and TN will fare better than most States in our country because we are already prepared with an action plan to face the risks,” the Finance Minister Sri. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan has said.

Sri P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan has lauded the role being played by the Jain community people to assist society in the fields of healthcare, educational scholarships, and various noble causes.
