Hon’ Governor marks his presence in TDI Smart City for ‘Pran-Pratishthha Mahotsav’ by Shri Venkatesh Temple

A four-day long ‘Pran-Pratishthha Mahotsav’ was organised, inviting a huge spiritual crowd by Shri Venkatesh Temple, Banke Bihari Dham at TDI Smart City, Sector 74A, Mohali. Shri Banwari Lal Purohit Ji, Governor of Punjab, elevated the event with his esteemed presence along with various other government officials to offer prayers. He received a warm valedictory by the Chairman of TDI for his gesture of being a part of the ceremony.

The event had numerous cultural representations and was a beautiful experience for all the devotees. Renowned priests from various pilgrimage attractions of the country, including Tirupati Balaji, Ayodhya, Vrindavan and more, offered prayers to the lord. Every prayer was concluded by a ‘hawan’ and prasad distribution that experienced thorough participation of the visitors as well. There was a regular recitation of religious morals leading to the path of peace through positivity.

TDI has consistently been recognised for its community services. The organisation produced land for building the famous Shri Venkatesh Temple long back as a social service measure. TDI has also set up a charitable dispensary, named Shrimant Narain Das Taneja Charitable Dispensary, in the honour of Mr.Narain Das Taneja within the temple premises to reach more and more people in need and serve them in every possible manner.

“It is important that we do not forget to follow our culture while adapting to modern technologies. Staying connected to our roots is equally essential. We thank everyone for making this cultural gathering incredibly memorable and pious. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our honourable Governor for accepting our invitation and being here with us today.”, said Mr. Ravinder Taneja, Chairman, TDI.
