Kolkata,  April 2022: IEMLabs in association with Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata and University of Engineering & Management host the 10^th Edition of Annual Tech Fest, “Innovación 2022”. The two-day event was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Satyajit Chakrabarti, President, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata and University of Engineering & Management in the presence of Prof Saikat Maitra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, MAKAUT, Prof Sanjay Kumar Das, IAS, Jt. Secretary, Department of IT and Electronics, Govt. of West Bengal, Prof (Dr) Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata & IEMLabs & Shri Nirupam Chaudhuri, Regional Director EAST, NASSCOM.

Innovación features several innovative models, coding events, guest lectures, workshops & Grandiose Robotics Competition where students from various colleges and universities across the country participate. Lectures of great scholars from reputed educational firms and industries will be another major highlight of this fest. The prominent segments of the fest include IEM Innovacion International Science Olympiad (IIISO), an International Robotics Workshop and a Hacking Competition for students and IT professionals.

“The tech fest is more exciting this time as Innovación 2022 and Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Government of West Bengal have partnered with each other to launch Cyberthon. The aim is to reach out to students from technical colleges and universities across the country. The main motto is also to educate those individuals who keep interest in learning more but lacks opportunities at the same time. Thus, the fest has seminars and lectures that will expose students to the world’s leading and new technologies,” said Prof (Dr) Satyajit Chakrabarti, Director, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata & IEMLabs.

“We are proud to collaborate with Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Govt. of West Bengal in launching – Cyberthon, “The Capture The Flag 2022”. The fest is also a platform where students can showcase their innovative projects which can garner audience and sponsorships for any entrepreneurship in the long run”, said Mr Hrithik Lall, Chief Technical Officer, IEMLabs.

Innovación 2022 caters to disciplines ranging from Robotics, Electronics, Coding, and core fundamentals of Science and Mathematics and this state-of-the-art tech fest is a platform where participants are challenged to think, ideate and innovate new technologies.
