VOX India Transforms the Iconic Wankhede Stadium for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023India, 20 October 2023:  VOX India, a renowned name in the realm of building materials, today announced its recent association with Wankhede Stadium, to renovate the ceiling structures of the iconic venue with its star product, the Soffit ceiling. This project was undertaken over the past few months and completed in time for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Earlier this year, Shashi Prabhu & Associates, the architectural firm engaged in the renovation of the Wankhede Stadium, visited VOX India’s booth at the FOAID Exhibition in Mumbai. After an evaluation of their innovative interior décor solutions, and on the strength of the company’s previous contributions to the renovation of Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, VOX was awarded the contract to renovate the ceiling structures of the Pavillion and VIP areas and Players sections of the Wankhede Stadium.

The Wankhede Stadium has borne witness to some of the most memorable moments in cricketing history. Conscious of the immense significance and sense of national pride attached to the space, VOX’s team of expert designers and craftsmen worked closely with the architects to deliver a truly exceptional ceiling design solution.

The project reflects the VOX India’s dedication to inspiring spaces that bring people together and elevate their experience. The company has previously undertaken similar projects for Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium, Chennai’s Chidambaram Stadium, and the Odisha Cricket Association.
