Bangalore, June 23, 2025: The spirit of balance and well-being came alive at Greenwood High ICSE/ISC campus with students, parents, and faculty coming together to celebrate International Yoga Day with zeal, fervor, and togetherness. The celebrations began with an energising yoga session, where parents joined their children to explore the many benefits of yoga. Under the training of professional trainers, the participants performed asanas, pranayamas, and meditation that left everyone revitalized and united. Many parents enjoyed bonding with their children in this unique way. The activity promoted not just physical health but also a sense of togetherness and well-being among everyone involved.
Adding a lively contrast to the serenity of yoga, the event also featured a vibrant World Music Day performance. Students participated in solo and group singing, showcasing vibrant performances across genres such as Indian, Western, Classical, and Hip-Hop. The performances were received with rapturous applause, and the mood was charged with pride and excitement. The double celebration highlighted the school’s interest in well-rounded education, fusing physical health with artistic expression.
On this occasion, Mrs. Niru Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Greenwood High International School, said, “It has always been our purpose at Greenwood High to provide students with a learning environment that goes beyond books. Days like this highlight how wellness and creativity are equally essential to a child’s development. It is heartening to see our students and parents engage together in this journey of growth.”
The day ended on a positive note, with joy, reflection, and a new sense of community. Greenwood High continues to strive towards developing a culture of balanced well-being and reflective living, inviting students to live balanced, meaningful lives and contribute to a more harmonious and resilient community.
