Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 07: KFON is set to provide high-speed internet connectivity to 817 Government Ayurveda Dispensaries and 141 Government Ayurveda Hospitals functioning under the Indian System of Medicine (ISM) Department across Kerala. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the digital infrastructure of government Ayurveda institutions and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services.
“By ensuring reliable internet connectivity to government Ayurveda institutions across Kerala, KFON will help enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery systems. This initiative marks a significant step towards making the Ayurveda sector more technology-driven,” said Sandip Kumar, IAS, Managing Director, KFON.
The availability of high-speed internet connectivity will significantly improve digital service delivery at government Ayurveda institutions. It will enable seamless digital management of patient records, faster online reporting, efficient access to e-governance services, video conferencing, and streamlined departmental communication.
The enhanced digital infrastructure will also support more efficient and timely healthcare service delivery. Through the expansion of connectivity to Ayurveda institutions, KFON continues to strengthen digital transformation and technological advancement in Kerala’s public healthcare sector.
