From traditional ‘dal baati churma’ to heartwarming ‘makki ki raab’, the Marwadi Food Pop-Up event guarantees the finest Rajasthani delicacies!

Get ready to savour the age-old assortment from the heart of Marwar at this food festival, happening from May 17th to May 26th. With the Marwadi Food Pop-Up event, Diya offers an essence of ‘Kitchens of India’ — a fascinating endeavor to shine a light on unique, undiscovered, royal, and forgotten aspects of the Rajasthani culinary scene. Whether it is your midday reprieve or your evening delight, the restaurant serves a wholesome Marwadi meal from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (lunch) and from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (dinner).

Evolved from the cuisine of the erstwhile princely state of Marwar, the ultimate Rajasthani fare will be curated by Guest Chef Abhilasha Jain — the maestro will also be preparing lesser-known dishes that are popular among locals but are often overlooked in mainstream Rajasthani cuisine.

Chef Abhilasha brings you the best specialties from the regal kitchens, which were always a buzz with churning out the most exclusive recipes for the royals. The visionary’s signature dishes like Dal Baati and Churma, Lapsey, Mako ka Dhokla, Bajre ki Khichdi, and Gondh Ladoos are made from recipes passed down from generations. Indulge in handpicked delights crafted by the expert chef, available through an à la carte menu!

Your search for authentic Marwadi cuisine ends now; The Marwadi Food Pop-up is here to transfer you to the Royal Palaces of Rajasthan! Providing an exceptional dining experience, The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences aims to bring authentic and soulful food from Rajasthan to its patrons.
