Travel has a magical way of refreshing our minds and hearts, and for actress Siddhi Sharma, her recent visit to Rajasthan was nothing short of a soulful retreat. Known for her energetic portrayal of Gulki in Sun Neo’s popular show Ishq Jabariya, Siddhi took some time off her hectic shooting schedule to reconnect with her roots and soak in the beauty of her homeland.
Reflecting on her recent getaway, Siddhi shared her heartfelt experience, “Recently, I visited Rajasthan, and what I loved the most about the trip was the beautiful environment at our farm house in Jaipur. The surroundings were full of greenery, mountains, farming areas, and an overall peaceful vibe. If you stand on the terrace, all you can see is greenery, mountains, clouds, birds, and animals. It’s something I really miss here in Mumbai because we don’t usually get to experience this kind of natural beauty in our daily lives.”
But it wasn’t just the peaceful surroundings that made this trip special. The traditional Rajasthani food added to the charm to which Siddhi said, “The food was unique and special. Since I am originally from Rajasthan, I enjoyed traditional dishes like bajre ki roti served with chutney and jaggery, sathe ki roti, gatte ki sabzi, mangodi ki kadhi, and of course, dal baati churma. These warm, flavorful dishes taste even better in Rajasthan’s environment. “
The Ishq Jabariya actress further added, “This was my most recent family trip, and I am looking forward to the next one. However, my schedule has been so hectic as I am busy in shoot for my ongoing Sun Neo’s show Ishq Jabariya that I haven’t had the chance to plan anything yet.”
Ishq Jabariya, airing on Sun Neo at 7:30 PM, is an engaging love story centred around Gulki, a determined young woman with big aspirations. The show boasts a stellar cast, including Kamya Panjabi, Siddhi Sharma, and Lakshay Khurana in key roles, bringing depth and emotion to this captivating narrative.
Tune into Sun Neo to watch Ishq Jabariya, every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM.
