July 1, 2025: New Delhi: IONAGE, one of India’s leading Electric Vehicles (EV) charging platform providers, recently announced a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a leading energy company of India. This partnership aims at integrating HPCL’s 5000+ EV charging network onto the IONAGE platform, thereby increasing accessibility, visibility and simplifying the charging process for electric vehicle owners.

Speaking about the collaboration, Mr Vimal Kumar, CEO, IONAGE Technologies said, “This collaboration is a significant milestone in our journey and underscores our commitment to building a sustainable, easily accessible EV charging infrastructure. According to the latest data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association total EV penetration in India across vehicle categories, reached 7.8 per cent in the fiscal year ending March 2025. As a significant step towards catalysing the GOI’s target of 30% EV penetration by 2030, IONAGE is working towards establishing a robust network of over 100,000 EV charging points, empowering over 10,000 Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) to venture into the EV charging business by 2028.

As Indians adapt to EVs and switch to emission free driving, both companies are committed to provide seamless charging experience and convenience to all EV owners, and thereby drive up the charging points to meet this growing demand for electric mobility with connected and intelligent tech enabled platforms.
