Deloitte India announces winners for the Enterprise Growth Awards 2025
14 March 2025: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (Deloitte India) has announced the winners for the first edition of the Enterprise Growth Awards (EGA) 2025, a unique programme dedicated to celebrating businesses that have transformed local ambitions into national success stories. The winners include family-owned enterprises that demonstrate a commitment to purpose, governance and sustained growth while shaping India’s entrepreneurial future as they scale into national brands. The winners were announced on 6 March 2025 in Chennai.
More than 500 companies from across the country, including from tier 2 and 3 cities, participated in EGA, and 33 winners were named across key sectors, including consumer, financial services, life sciences and healthcare, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and Energy, Resources and Industrials (ER&I). Family businesses that participated had a sales turnover between ₹1,000 crore and ₹5,000 crore, with significant promoter ownership (over 26%). These enterprises have shown remarkable growth and have the potential to become market leaders.
“Across India’s tier 2 cities and industrial hubs, there are businesses that have persevered in the shadows and quietly transformed their local economies by creating jobs and expanding their businesses. The Enterprise Growth Awards aim to recognise these unsung success stories of businesses that have grown beyond their humble beginnings, demonstrating that innovation and resilience can drive them to new heights of success. By celebrating their achievements, we aim to showcase the vast entrepreneurial talent shaping India’s economy and inspire more businesses to embrace sustainable, long-term growth that leaves a lasting impact,” said K. R. Sekar, Partner and Leader – Deloitte Private, Deloitte India.
“We thank our esteemed jury for ensuring a rigorous and transparent evaluation process. The winning companies’ success is a testament to their resilience, values and unwavering focus on their long-term vision. With EGA, we take pride in celebrating the legacy and leadership that define truly enduring enterprises. We are grateful to the companies that participated in the first edition of Deloitte’s Enterprise Growth Awards – it was indeed gratifying to see the enthusiasm and support through the process,” said Dhiraj Bhandary, Partner, Deloitte India.
The awardees went through a robust evaluation process, being assessed on their purpose, governance, and growth before being chosen as winners. A distinguished jury panel of industry leaders comprising S. D. Shibulal, Former Managing Director, Infosys and Chairperson of the jury panel; Dr. Brinda Jagirdar, Former Chief Economist of the State Bank of India and Independent Director; M. D. Ranganath, Chairman, Catamaran Ventures and Board Member of HDFC; and Manoj Kohli, International Growth Advisor to MNCs and Global Funds and Business Transformation Coach, assessed the participating companies.
