CYPRUS—August 20, 2026—Avos News today announced the public launch of its agentic AI-powered personalized news platform. The site provides each reader with a private front page, rather than another feed they must constantly check. Avos has been in private beta since March 2026, and is now launching publicly.
“Advances in agentic AI have changed the economics of the online news model,” explained Stef Roussos, founder and CEO of Avos News. “Instead of relying on a generalized algorithm, Avos can perform much of that research on a personalized basis and synthesize it into a front page that’s meaningful to the individual reader—at a measured generation cost of roughly three cents per briefing.”
Users tell Avos what they want to follow, e.g., topics, markets, companies, sources, and tone. Avos does the reading in the background. Its agents fetch, filter, and deduplicate hundreds of articles. The site then produces one personalized briefing delivered before the reader’s day starts.
The initial audience for Avos has been knowledge workers who currently piece together their morning view from many different sources. In particular, Avos has proven popular in pre-launch with active traders and finance/fintech professionals in Europe and North America. Roussos remarked, “Avos is like the personal research desk that used to be a privilege reserved for governments, large institutions and senior executives. Now, anyone can enjoy that kind of information screening and presentation to meet their unique needs.”
“Bigger picture, Avos is taking the online news industry away from engagement-driven feeds, doomscrolling and generic mass newsletters toward reader-controlled news,” Roussos added, “Each person defines their own information agenda.”
