New Delhi. The exhibition of paintings and photographs of Istanbul’s famous artist Burcu Turan started today at the Open Palm Court Gallery of India Habitat Center. Burcu Turan’s 16 paintings have been displayed in this exhibition which runs from 8 to 11 December 2022. This solo exhibition titled “Abstract Freedom” depicts an artist’s ability to communicate freely across all boundaries. On the occasion of the inauguration, apart from famous artist Qazi M Ragib, renowned art critic, writer Sunit Chopra, and H. E. Mr. Firat Sunel Ambassador, Turkey many art lovers looked at the paintings of Burcu Turan and interpreted them in their own way. This series of paintings by Turan depicts the liberation of the soul from the subconscious shackles of material feelings and emotions. Also blurs the line between physical and spiritual entities. In this way, through her art, she captures the experience of being lost in her search through colors. Earlier Burcu Turan displayed her art to the world through several exhibitions in Turkey. Burcu Turan’s brush strokes, effective drawing, and complex palette of color are characteristic of her art. her fascination for depth of light and shadow with vibrant contrasting colors makes his paintings mysterious.
