India, 23 June 2025: In a momentous celebration of wellness and mindful living, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channels, Nick and Sonic participated at one of the country’s largest Yoga Day celebrations – joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of AYUSH in Vizag. With a strong focus on encouraging healthy habits and making wellness more accessible for kids, the channels extended their flagship initiative #YogaSeHiHoga to the event with Nick’s Chikoo and Bunty and Sonic’s newest member Bittu – all inspiring the next generation to embrace the practice of yoga. This collective celebration aims to reaffirm the network’s shared commitment to the timeless practice of yoga and its enduring relevance in today’s world across all age groups.
In a remarkable moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Union Ministers, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, Civil Aviation Minister – K Ram Mohan Naidu and over 3 lakh yoga enthusiasts, participated in the mass yoga session held near R.K. Beach, Kalikamatha Temple, Vizag. The event saw our Prime Minister addressing the participants with a heartfelt message on the holistic benefits of yoga as he said, “Yoga is the pause button that humanity needs to breathe, balance, and become whole again”. Adding a burst of energy, Nick’s Chikoo and Bunty and Sonic’s Bittu joined kids and families on-ground, performing yoga asanas and encouraging them to embrace the practice as a fun and essential part of their daily routine.
Over the years, Nick and Sonic have been strong advocates for kids’ wellness through initiatives like #YogaSeHiHoga. From the iconic Motu and Patlu performing yoga with the Prime Minister in Ranchi in 2019, to hosting one of Mumbai’s biggest yoga gatherings at ‘Yoga by the Bay’, and successfully conducting virtual yoga sessions during the pandemic, the brand has consistently championed the importance of yoga. Previous digital campaigns have reached millions and received thousands of entries for their nationwide yoga contests, making yoga accessible, entertaining, and relevant for kids and families.
