Spices Board Celebrates International Yoga Day 2025 with Two-Day Wellness Programme

Kochi, June 23, 2025: Spices Board of India celebrated 11th International Day of Yoga with a two–day wellness programme at its headquarters in Kochi. Ms. P. Hemalatha IAS, Secretary, Spices Board, inaugurated the programme.

The programs began on June 20, 2025, with a dedicated Meditation Day, encouraging participants to experience inner calm and mindfulness. The main event was held on 21 June 2025, marking International Yoga Day, with a full yoga session conducted at the office premises.

The yoga session was led by Ms. Amala K. V., Joint Secretary of Yogasana Ernakulam and Founder of Nuyoga, alongside Ms. Ambika, Yoga Demonstrator from Aroya Yoga, Edappally, who guided participants through various asanas and breathing techniques.

Spices Board remains committed to fostering a healthy and balanced work environment by promoting wellness practices such as yoga. The two–day event witnessed enthusiastic participation and served as a reminder of India’s timeless tradition of holistic health.
