Bangalore: July 1, 2025: In observance of Retinoblastoma Awareness Month, Cytecare Hospitals organized an impactful public engagement event on May 30th at Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru, aiming to raise awareness about Retinoblastoma, a rare but serious eye cancer affecting children.
The event featured an energetic flashmob performance by over 50 nursing students and hospital staff, using dance and skits to communicate key messages about early detection and treatment.
Dr. Fairooz P, Consultant – Ocular Oncology and Dr. Shefali, Consultant – Ocular Oncology from Cytecare Hospitals led interactive sessions with the public, educating attendees on signs, symptoms, and the importance of timely medical attention.
The event also saw participation from children holding placards to amplify the message and engage the crowd.
This initiative reflects Cytecare’s commitment to community education and early cancer detection, bringing vital conversations into public spaces through creative and compassionate outreach.
