Divya Agarwal, who has consistently wowed audiences with her compelling performances, is back with a twisty new role in first vertical show Ikke Pe Ikka Ek Khel, streaming on Kutingg. The actress plays Mamta Sharma — a character layered with emotion, deception, and unpredictability.
Speaking about her role, Divya said, “I enjoy playing characters with shades of grey. I gravitate towards roles that are layered and complex. Mamta has a sympathetic, positive side, but she’s also harsh when needed. I love bringing that emotional contrast to the screen — it keeps the audience guessing.”
Delving deeper into the character, she added, “Mamta is both the villain and the hero — one of those characters you’ll cry for and root against at the same time. These are the kinds of roles where you’re never quite sure who’s lying and who’s telling the truth. That’s the real game — figuring out what’s real. But I can’t reveal too much, or it’ll spoil the surprise. You’ll have to watch the entire series to truly see who’s right and who’s wrong.”
On what drew her to the first vertical show on Kutingg, Divya shared, “I started my career with Ragini MMS on ALTT, so when I got a call from them after such a long time, it instantly brought a smile to my face. That curiosity about why they approached me again was one of the reasons I wanted to know more. What really caught my attention was their new vertical content segment, Kutingg. It was something completely fresh — I had never experienced anything like it before, and that made it all the more exciting.”
Set in a world of blurred lines between right and wrong, Ikke Pe Ikka Ek Khel — streaming on Kutingg, a new vertical video content segment designed exclusively for mobile-first audiences — follows police investigator Sheena as she unravels a twisted tale of abuse, lies, and deception between Mamta and Adarsh. What begins as a quest for justice for a seemingly wronged woman soon spirals into something far more chilling. To find out how it all unfolds, tune into Ikke Pe Ikka Ek Khel, streaming exclusively on Kutingg within ALTT.
