Jamshedpur, 22nd June 2025: XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, was proud to host the official launch of “The Storypreneurs”, co-authored by renowned storytellers and thought leaders Prateek Rai Chowdhury and Nitin Babel. The event was marked by an engaging and thought-provoking storytelling session with the authors, exclusively curated for the students of the General Management Programme (GMP).
“The Storypreneurs” delves into the transformative power of storytelling in the world of entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. Drawing from real-life business journeys and personal narratives, the book highlights how compelling storytelling can inspire action, drive impact and build enduring brands and leaders.
The storytelling session brought the book’s essence to life, as both authors captivated the audience with their evocative delivery and deep insights into the craft of storytelling in corporate and entrepreneurial contexts. The session resonate strongly with XLRI’s GMP students, many of whom come with rich industry experience and are preparing to lead in dynamic, ever-evolving business environments.
Speaking at the event, Prateek Rai Chowdhury, a celebrated brand consultant and strategist, said, “We’re thrilled to launch The Storypreneurs at XLRI – a place that represents values, leadership and impact. Storytelling is not just about narratives – it’s about creating movements.”
Nitin Babel, co-author and leadership mentor, added, “Our goal is to ignite the storyteller within each leader. The students here bring a wealth of experience, and today’s session was about helping them see their own stories as their greatest assets.”
The event was organized by the Corporate Relations Team under the leadership of Prof Kanagaraj A, Convenor Placements & Professor of Finance at XLRI as part of its ongoing initiative to bring thought leadership and contemporary learning experiences to campus. The Students, faculty members and staff attended the session, making it an engaging and interactive experience.
