Mumbai, 09th April 2024: India stands as one of the fastest-growing FinTech markets globally backed by factors like widespread digital adoption and government initiatives like India Stack and Jan Dhan Yojana. As a response to the growing demand for skilled professionals in India’s rapidly growing FinTech sector, SVKM’s NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC) has announced the launch of its BBA (FinTech). The programme is set to commence in the academic year 2024-25.
The programme objectives are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education which will include business administration principles and cutting-edge technologies in the financial domain. Students will gain expertise in areas such as Blockchain, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Payment Platforms to prepare them to smoothly traverse the complexities of the financial sector.
A multifaceted pedagogical approach will have students engage in classroom learning, coding and programming language sessions, and technical skill development in ASMSOC’s state-of-the-art Data Lab. Moreover, they will get exposure to the industry through guest speaker sessions, case study discussions, and research projects to enhance their practical understanding of FinTech.
The BBA (FinTech) programme offers both a 3-year degree and a 4-year honours degree to provide students with flexibility and in-depth specialization opportunities. An intake of only 60 students will ensure a personalised learning experience and individual attention to each student.
ASMSOC’s BBA (FinTech) program reflects the school’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and meeting the evolving needs of the industry. With expert faculty, cutting-edge infrastructure, and a strategic location in Mumbai, the financial capital and FinTech hub, ASMSOC is poised to groom the next generation of FinTech leaders.
