One-Day Mega Event Engages Schools from Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura and Purulia

Durgapur, 25th June 2025: The JIS Education Expo 2025 – Durgapur Edition concluded with resounding success, bringing together academic visionaries, students, parents and educators in a day-long celebration of learning and career discovery.

Organised by the JIS Group Educational Initiatives, the event witnessed active participation from schools across Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura and Purulia, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to educational outreach.

The Expo showcased a comprehensive suite of academic programs offered by JIS Group Educational Initiatives, including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.

Each JIS educational institution hosted interactive stalls, providing students and parents an opportunity to directly interact with faculty members, career counsellors and academic advisors. These one-on-one discussions offered personalised insights into various educational pathways and helped demystify the admission process.

A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony honouring Class 10 and 12 toppers from the participating districts. By celebrating academic merit, the ceremony served as a powerful motivator for students and underscored the value of dedication and excellence.

In addition, the Expo offered free personalised counselling sessions, which received an enthusiastic response. Expert advisors guided students through crucial academic decisions such as stream selection, course alignment with career goals and navigating higher education in an evolving job market.
