From India to Belfast: Dr. Pragya Sharma delivers powerful TEDX talk at Queen’s University

18th December  2023DrPragya Sharma, a renowned and dynamic Indian leader in the field of healthcare innovation and Founder of Gran Labs, delivered a captivating address on the theme “Reclaiming a Borrowed Dream.” Encouraging audiences to embrace their unique paradoxes. Dr Sharma was speaking at the ‘TEDx Queens University Belfast’ event in partnership with PwC at Queen’s University Belfast, one of the leading Universities in UK and Ireland as well as a member of the prestigious Russell Group of UK research intensive universities.  

With insightful perspectives and an inspiring presence, DrSharma contributed to the event’s success, leaving an indelible mark on the audience. She shared insightful perspectives on discovering moments of truth, transformation, and impact. Her message resonated with the audience, reminding them that the most beautiful stories often unfold from the most unexpected twists of fate.  

DrPragya Sharma is a dynamic leader in the field of healthcare innovation, dedicated to revolutionizing dermatology and skincare. With a PhD in Structural Biochemistry and a passion for patent law, she has merged science and entrepreneurship. Hailing from Delhi, IndiaDrPragya‘s journey showcases her resilience as she turned initial challenges into a strong source of motivation, choosing science as her true calling.

The event brought together community partners, staff, students, and alumni of Queen’s to share inspiring new ideas on the theme of ‘Reimagine: Spark Your Imagination.’ Queen’s is a part of the TEDx global community of over 3,000 TEDx events hosted worldwide each year.
