Bengaluru, 14th October, 2024: As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to revolutionise industries, its global economic impact is projected to add $15.7 trillion to the world economy by 2030 PwC Global Artificial Intelligence Study 2023. In response to the increasing demand for skilled AI professionals, VIT Bangalore, has launched the Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, a 16-week, live online programme designed to equip participants with the advanced skills needed to lead in the AI and machine learning (ML) space.
AI is poised to create 12 million more jobs than it displaces by 2025, making it imperative for organisations to invest in talent with strong AI and ML capabilities as per the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023. This programme offers a deep dive into AI and Generative AI technologies, preparing professionals to solve complex business problems using cutting-edge AI techniques.
With the rise of Generative AI, industries such as healthcare, finance, and retail are seeing accelerated innovation in automation, customer interaction, and data-driven decision-making. This programme addresses the growing demand for AI professionals who can leverage necessary Python libraries like Seaborn, and Numpy to develop AI models that enhance operational efficiency and strategic outcomes. PwC Global CEO Survey 2023 states that 52% of CEOs cite skill gaps as a significant barrier to fully realising AI’s potential, making upskilling in AI and ML more critical than ever.
Led by esteemed VIT Bangalore faculty and industry experts, the programme includes live online sessions, capstone project for hands-on experience, Gen AI modules, as well as industry relevant tools and python libraries. Designed for tech professionals, data specialists, and those looking to transition into AI-driven roles, the course covers the fundamentals of AI and ML, supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and the latest developments in Generative AI.
