Honeywell’s CSR unit, Honeywell Hometown Solutions India Foundation has been partnering with several institutions to train higher education students on advanced technologies such as cloud computing, big data, networking, RPA, artificial intelligence, and machine learning and make them industry-ready resources. In the last three years, HHSIF has trained more than 22,000 youth and 60% of them have also been placed with various corporates. In the current financial year, another 8000 students will get trained in advanced tech skills and in sustainability focused courses which will equip them to pursue a career in the green economy, which is evolving fast in India. In addition, HHSIF is boosting the start-up ecosystem by investing in deep-tech and deep science innovations in partnership with the Indian Institute of Science.
