Bengaluru, Jan 06: Delta Electronics India, a leading provider of power management and smart green solutions, has announced an agreement to supply 100 units of its Make-in-India 1.1 MW bi-directional Power Conditioning Systems (PCS)—aggregating to 110 MW—to Prostarm Info Systems Ltd. for multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across India. The deployment includes key projects undertaken for Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. (BSPGCL) and Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML).
By enabling advanced energy storage infrastructure across both metropolitan and regional markets, the collaboration will play a vital role in strengthening grid stability, accelerating renewable energy integration, and enhancing India’s overall energy resilience.

Under the agreement, Prostarm will deploy the 110 MW bi-directional PCS across several projects, including BSPGCL and AEML’s 11 MW/22 MWh BESS project in Mumbai, as well as standalone BESS projects being developed by Prostarm in Bihar under the Battery Energy Storage Solution Power Developer (BESSPD) model.

Delta’s Power Conditioning Systems are manufactured at the company’s facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, and are designed for utility-scale energy storage and microgrid applications. The systems support critical functions such as peak shaving, PV smoothing, and grid ancillary services, offering up to 98.5% energy conversion efficiency, output power capacity of up to 1,160 kVA, and scalability of up to five units operating in parallel.
