Hyderabad, Dec 15: India’s leading education group, Podar Education Network, has announced the launch of its newest Podar Prep centre in Kokapet, Hyderabad. With this addition, the network continues its legacy of offering valuable, innovative learning methods focused on early brain development, and a strong commitment to delivering quality through integrity.
The new centre brings a refreshed approach to early childhood education, inspired by NEP 2020 and complemented by insights from EYFS (UK) and EYLF (Australia). The updated curriculum and redesigned learning spaces aim to provide a nurturing and engaging start to each child’s educational journey. The centre offers programmes for Playgroup (2-3 years), Nursery (3-4 years), Junior Kindergarten (4-5 years), and Senior Kindergarten (5-6 years).
The launch ceremony featured a special workshop for parents titled “Screen and Scream Parenting”, led by renowned early childhood expert Dr. Swati Popat Vats, President of Podar Education Network and the Early Childhood Association. T
The workshop addressed the rising challenge of digital integration in children’s lives and helped parents understand the developmental impact of excessive screen time on behavior, attention, and emotional well-being. Dr. Vats provided easy, actionable strategies to help families set healthy screen boundaries, manage device-related conflicts, and encourage open communication. She also guided parents on modelling responsible screen use and promoting a balanced childhood rooted in physical activity and real-world experiences.
“We are thrilled to bring the innovative, early brain development-focused curriculum of Podar Prep to Kokapet, Hyderabad. The foundational years are crucial, and our goal is to move beyond rote learning to actively stimulate cognitive development through purposeful play and exploration. Our network of schools aims to fuse the strong cultural fundamentals of Indian society with advanced learning tools acquired from over the world giving education an exciting and dynamic direction. We are committed to support not just the child, but the entire family, ensuring they have the tools needed to raise resilient, well-adjusted children in today’s fast-paced world,” said Bindu Gaddipatti, Center Director at Podar Prep Kokapet.
The centre introduces a research-backed curriculum focused on early brain development and holistic learning. Teachers will use brain-focused, innovative, hands-on teaching methods supported by unique activities such as Action Mats, Immersive S.P.A. (Sensory, Play, and Art), and Non-screen Coding. These activities are designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and fine and gross motor development. The curriculum also integrates Play-Based Learning, blending the philosophies of global pioneers like Jean Piaget and Friedrich Froebel to create a stress-free environment where children discover concepts naturally. Beyond foundational literacy and numeracy, the program includes social-emotional learning, physical activities such as yoga, dance, and outdoor play, and opportunities for creative expression.
Podar Prep is the premium preschool brand of the Podar Education Network, a trusted name with over 95 years of educational excellence.
