Northeastern Flavours, Reimagined – A Pop Up by Chef Farha NaazNew Delhi, Dec 12th: Chor Bizarre, renowned for its regional Indian cuisine and authentic Kashmiri specialties, alongside Forker’s Dining club, presents an exclusive pop-up by Chef Farha Naaz, Founder and CEO of Mamazaki and a Top 22 finalist of MasterChef India Season 8.

Trained in agricultural technology, Chef Farha combines her love for storytelling and heritage cooking with modern techniques, reimagining North-Eastern cuisine in a contemporary fine-dining style. Beyond her rising popularity as a chef, Farha has become a key voice in the revival and recognition of North-Eastern culinary traditions. Her work spans acclaimed pop-ups across India, collaborations with leading hotels and food festivals, and sustainability-focused culinary revivals with WWF. Through Mamazaki, she has built a community that celebrates indigenous ingredients, forgotten recipes, and cultural memory – presenting them with global finesse while preserving the soul of regional cooking.

At this pop-up, guests will enjoy a set menu thoughtfully curated by Chef Farha, featuring dishes such as paneer smoked in roselle leaf, axone-stuffed bamboo shoot dumplings, black rice slow-cooked with molasses, Shillong lamb meatballs, black sesame, parmesan, and noodles, and Shillong beans and lentil balls. Desserts include the Mascarpone date roll with Joha custard and brûléed fig, or Hando Guri, with Assam chai, toasted sticky rice, and candied ginger.

Since its relaunch last year, Chor Bizarre has curated pop-ups celebrating the diverse flavours of Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mangalore, Odisha, and Purani Dilli. Very recently, it also hosted Parsi Bhonu by the Queen of Catering, Tanaz Godiwalla.
