Kaushalya Logistics Expands: New Ahmednagar Depot with Adani Cement and Freight Forwarding Venture

Kaushalya Logistics Limited (KLL) is excited to announce two major expansions in its operations. As of August 1, 2024, KLL has officially launched its new cement depot in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This strategic development enhances KLL’s logistics services for Adani Cement, including rake point operations, depot management, and secondary transportation. The new depot is designed to handle approximately 120,000 metric tons of cement annually, supporting ACC and Ambuja Cement brands, thereby significantly broadening KLL’s service capabilities.

The Ahmednagar depot will oversee the complete logistics chain, from rail movement to depot operations and transportation to secondary distribution points. This all-encompassing approach is set to streamline the supply chain and boost efficiency, underscoring KLL’s commitment to providing exceptional logistics solutions in the cement sector.

In tandem with the cement logistics expansion, KLL is thrilled to introduce its new vertical in freight forwarding under Full Truck Load (FTL) services, effective August 3, 2024. The company has commenced operations with two key clients: M/s VMS Equipment Pvt Ltd, a group company of ACE – India’s leading material handling and construction equipment manufacturer, and M/s Epicu Beverages Pvt Ltd, a bottler for Parle Agro. KLL is also actively pursuing opportunities with several other potential customers to further expand its footprint in the freight forwarding sector.

Uddhav Poddar, Managing Director of Kaushalya Logistics Limited, commented, “We are thrilled to start this new association with Adani group with a new depot in Ahmednagar. Our collaboration with Adani Cement showcases our cement logistics capabilities, and our entry into the freight forwarding market marks a pivotal step in our growth strategy. We remain committed to delivering exceptional service and driving innovation in the logistics industry.”

These developments highlight KLL’s strategic efforts to diversify its services and strengthen its market presence in both cement logistics and freight forwarding. The company is dedicated to operational excellence and poised for continued growth in these key sectors.
