Miyuki Commends the Richness of Umami with a Unique Mushroom Festival
Pune, 05th March 2025: Miyuki, renowned for its exquisite Japanese cuisine, is excited to take you on a culinary journey like no other with its Umami Mushroom Food Festival. This March the exclusive festival will feature a remarkable selection of mushroom-inspired dishes that showcase the rich, savoury, and earthy flavours of umami, elevating your dining experience to new heights.
The month-long festival will explore the magic of umami, one of the five basic tastes in Japanese cooking, highlighting the deep, savory flavor that mushrooms bring to the table. From tender shiitake to the delicate enoki and the prized shimeji, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of unique, mushroom-based dishes created by Miyuki’s skilled culinary team.
The festival includes a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian set menu. Some of the key Highlights of this menu are Shimeji Wakame Aemono (Shimeji mushroom with seaweed in soy miso dressings), Kinoko Miso Shiru (traditional miso soup mixed with mushrooms), Kinoko Tempura (mixed mushroom tempura), Kinoko Ko Tori No Yakitori (Skewered mushrooms and grilled chicken with tare sauce), Toriniku To Kinoko No Teriyaki (Grilled chicken and mushrooms glazed with teriyaki sauce) and Wasabi Caramelized Vanilla Ice-cream.
