Milaap360 enables organisations and individuals to unleash ‘The Power of Giving’

India, October 19, 2022: Milaap360, India’s first ‘all-in-one’ digital fundraising solution hosted fundraising for an array of unique causes on the occasion of the ‘Joy Of Giving Week,’ which concluded recently. The newly launched holistic platform is designed to connect foundations, corporates, institutions, like-minded groups and individuals with the generous donor community for long-term, large-scale and diverse causes through an interactive fundraising setup.

As part of the celebrations, the fundraisers launched on Milaap360 covered a wide spectrum of social and economic causes. The platform enthralled the donors by laying out tools such as “pledges” where people can fundraise for any supporting endeavours as part of a bigger cause like purchasing a sewing machine to empower women from marginalised communities or “auction” personalised artwork to raise funds for the physically disabled. There are also opportunities for donors to “sponsor” education for individual students, purchase projectors, or buy simple things such as water bottles to aid the main fundraising event. The donor community can also stand lucky to win exciting gifts upon buying “lucky draw” tickets whose proceedings are being used to create awareness of nutritious food choices for students. A full-fledged virtual musical concert and dinner were also organised to help 3000 children from destitute backgrounds lead a better life.

Anoj Viswanathan, Co-Founder and President at Milaap said, “The power of giving, be it monetary, time or resources, is unfathomable and every contribution or participation, big or small, collectively makes a life-changing impact. As a digital enabler to the innate behaviour of giving, we ensure that the givers and their choice to give are
safe through a secure, trusted and seamless experience. There are several exciting and immersive experiences to support individuals and organisations achieve their fundraising goals on Milaap360 and these will run until they meet their set goal.”

Sharing and giving brings smiles and happiness not only to the receiver but also to the giver – the thought of having a dedicated platform for supporting underprivileged children in India was multiplied two folds when the entire community came together to help support over 3000 children, who are being supported by MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Speaking on the occasion Jithin Nedumala, Co-Founder and CEO of MAD said “MAD’s long association with Milaap360 to celebrate the Joy of Giving Week is in perfect alignment with MAD’s unique volunteer-driven model with the spirit of Daan Utsav, which encourages giving in all forms”.

Santosh Dinne, Founder of Svatah, a non-profit organisation, who is running a fundraiser on the platform, said, “We have been planning to fundraise for more than a year now. Milaap360 made it worth the wait. The team has been extremely helpful.

Setting it up was a cakewalk and the integration into our website increased our visibility. With the influx of funds, our team is invigorated and pumped to see our vision come true. We’re going to educate 1500 students by March 2024 and put them on a path towards financial independence.”

Giving is an integral part of human behaviour, and the consequent happiness and gratification from helping someone live much longer. Even with something as personal as giving, people are getting increasingly inclined towards choosing digital avenues of giving for convenience, exposure to wider options, streamlined processes and swift outcomes. It thus becomes essential that fundraising too transcends its traditional methods and offers endless ways to attract, inspire and engage donors for causes of their choice.

Rotary Global Champions, Make A Difference, Foodshala, Earth Brigade Foundation, and Svatah Education Foundation are some of the prominent organisations that are running their fundraisers on Milaap360. All the fundraisers will run until they meet their goal amount and the donors can still go and check out the causes, and experience the magic of ‘all-in-one’ fundraising on the platform.
