Literary Excellence: E Santhosh Kumar Wins Prestigious Federal Bank Award for ‘Thapomayiyude Achan’
E Santhosh Kumar has been chosen for the Federal Bank Literary Award 2024 for his novel titled ‘Thapomayiyude Achan’. In a function held at the Kerala Literature Festival at Kozhikode, the award was handed over by Josemon P David, Vice President and Regional Head – Kozhikode of Federal Bank, along with a cheque denoting a prize money of Rs 1 Lakh.
The best book was selected after a rigorous process of selection. 5 most popular nominations were evaluated by a judging committee comprising of Benyamin, Fathima E V and Rahul Radhakrishnan.
I am very happy to receive Federal Bank’s Literary Award this year. Addressing diverse themes like contemporary refugee issues made writing this novel a challenging yet rewarding journey. Every recognition the novel receives reaffirms that effort,” said Santhosh Kumar.
Notable writer V J James presided over the function and the vote of thanks was proposed by Bindu M – Deputy Vice President of Federal Bank.
