02nd June, 2025: Continuing the efforts to foster thought leadership and industry-academia collaboration and setting yet another benchmark, Galgotias University successfully hosted the second edition of Parisamvad, a flagship human capital symposium that brought together some of India’s most influential HR leaders, business strategists, and industry experts. The event served as a dynamic platform for discussions on transforming early career experiences into meaningful, performance-oriented journeys that bridge academic learning with industry demands, while placing equal emphasis on a deeper engagement with the values and aspirations of next-generation workforce.
Attended by leaders from top companies including Thoughtworks, Phillips, KPMG India, Atlan, Bajaj Finserv, and Nuberg Engineering among others, the conclave featured engaging discussions addressing the evolving nature of workplaces, shifting employee expectations, and how organizations can remain resilient and people-centric in a technology-enabled world. Senior HR leaders from diverse sectors shared real-world perspectives on the evolving expectations of upcoming talent and the need to redefine talent pipelines, placing a premium on internships that go beyond observation to deliver hands-on, performance-driven experiences. As organizations seek to convert academic potential into workplace readiness, the focus is shifting towards immersive, values-aligned engagements that foster agility, growth, and long-term retention.
Delivering the welcome address, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, said, “India stands at the cusp of an educational transformation and at Galgotias University, we are committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry realities. Our mission is to enable students to move beyond the outdated model of rote learning and champion a future driven by active, experiential, and industry-aligned education. Parisamvad is a reflection of this vision, giving our students a front-row seat to real-time insights from the top minds in HR and business. We believe that future-ready graduates must gain critical thinking skills to lead with empathy, agility, and purpose.”
Parisamvad 2024 is a timely initiative designed to prepare students and educators for the rapidly changing employment landscape. The event also highlighted the university’s focus on strengthening industry-academia ties by encouraging internships, live projects, leadership mentoring, and HR-facilitated career development opportunities.
Galgotias University’s consistent engagement with industry leaders reinforces its commitment to producing graduates who are attuned to the human and strategic aspects of the transformed work environment. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, industry alignment, and global engagement, the university continues to set benchmarks in higher education.
