Indian Bank organised Mega Dairy Loan Campaign in Tiruvannamalai
Chennai, September 23rd, 2024: On Saturday, September 21st, the Tiruvannamalai Zone of Indian Bank successfully conducted a special “Mega Dairy Loan Disbursement Campaign” at their Zonal Office in Tiruvannamalai. The event was chaired by Shri E. V. Velu, the Tamil Nadu State Minister of Public Works (Buildings, Highways and Minor Ports) alongside Shri D. Baskara Pandian, I.A.S., the District Collector of Tiruvannamalai District. Key dignitaries in attendance included Zonal Manager Shri M. Arunpandian and Deputy Zonal Manager Shri K. Suresh, highlighting the significance of this initiative aimed at empowering local dairy farmers.
During this campaign, Indian Bank disbursed about Rs.10 Crores in dairy loans benefiting over 1000 dairy farmers, facilitating their efforts in enhancing dairy production and improving livelihoods in the region. This initiative not only supports individual farmers but also strengthens the overall dairy infrastructure in Tiruvannamalai, contributing to the economic development of the district and promoting sustainable agricultural practices among local communities.
