IGMPI Director Dr. Syed S. Abbas  Presents Prestigious Awards at ETNutriWell Conclave 2025New Delhi, India Dec 09th: Dr. Syed S. Abbas, Director of the Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India (IGMPI), presented the top awards at the ETHealthWorld NutriWell Conclave & Awards 2025 held in New Delhi.

The awards recognised excellence in nutrition, diet counselling, and corporate wellness initiatives. Dr. Abbas handed over the honours to the following winners:

  • Excellence in Nutrition and Diet Counseling – Manvi Lohia, MPH
  • Mental Health Advocate of the Year – Dr. Niharika Singh
  • Wellness Guru of the Year – Manvi Lohia, MPH
  • Nutrition & Wellness Icon of the Year – Dr. J. C. Balachandar (Dr. Bala)
  • Healthy Ageing Initiative of the Year – ITC Limited
  • Excellence in CSR Initiatives – Himalaya Wellness Company

The event brought together leading nutritionists, corporate wellness heads, and industry experts to discuss practical solutions for India’s growing lifestyle and metabolic health challenges.

Dr. Syed S. Abbas commented: “These winners are creating real impact on the ground through counselling, community programs, and scalable wellness models. Recognising their work motivates the entire ecosystem to push harder for a healthier India.”

During the conclave, Dr. Syed S. Abbas also presented a series of important product and innovation awards alongside the main category honours. Among them wereSkin Care Product of the Year to HK Vitals, Gut Health Product of the Year to ITC’s Digestive Health Platform (covering Aashirvaad, Right Shift, and Happy Tummy), and Health Awareness  Campaign of the Year to ITC’s “Help India Eat Better” initiative. He additionally recognised ITC Limited as the national winner for Gut Health Product of the Year, awarded Calcimax from Meyer Vitabiotics as the Best Brand in the Nutritional Supplement Category, and honoured the national winner in Infant & Toddler Cereals (No Refined Sugars). These awards highlighted innovative, science-backed solutions that are making a real difference in India’s nutrition and wellness sector.

The conclave also featured panel discussions on preventive nutrition and corporate wellness strategies.
