New Delhi, Sep 30: India is stepping up its outreach to American manufacturers, with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal inviting US companies to explore the growing opportunities available across India’s manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Speaking with American industry representatives, Goyal highlighted India’s expanding manufacturing capabilities and encouraged companies to consider the country as a destination for investment, production and global supply-chain operations.
The Minister pointed to opportunities emerging across electronics, semiconductors, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, engineering, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing, where India is building stronger domestic capabilities and attracting global investment.
India’s large consumer base, improving infrastructure and expanding industrial ecosystem are creating new avenues for American companies looking to establish manufacturing operations and serve both Indian and international markets.
