Chennai, 30th July 2025: GIRI, the world’s largest spiritual and bhakti retailer, has proudly launched its first-ever showroom in New Jersey, marking a historic expansion on the U.S. East Coast. This milestone reinforces GIRI’s growing global footprint and its commitment to delivering authentic Indian traditions and spiritual experiences to the Indian diaspora and global seekers of Indic wisdom.
Following the success of its West Coast operations, the New Jersey showroom became GIRI’s second in the United States. Strategically located to serve the thriving Indian-American community and spiritual enthusiasts, the showroom brings together a curated selection of devotional music, puja items, Vedic literature, handicrafts, temple essentials, and more, all under one roof.
The grand opening was presided over by Mr. Francis Womack III, Mayor of North Brunswick, NJ, who officially inaugurated the showroom. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Rajesh Mehta, Councilman, Ms. Kalpana & Mr. Ravi Venkataraman, CPA, New Jersey, Mr. Swaminatha Bhagavathar, Sadguru Seva Samajam, Mr. Suriyanarayanan Subramanian, Maha Periyava Mani Mandapam, and Mr. Sridhar Shanmugam, Cultural Ambassador- Indian Consulate, NJ. The event featured traditional rituals, a walkthrough of the showroom, and soulful performances that set the tone for GIRI’s East Coast debut.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. T.S. Ranganathan, CEO of GIRI Inc., said, “As we step into New Jersey, we carry with us the soul of Bharat. This showroom is where tradition meets today—where every product has a story, and every visitor feels a sense of belonging, no matter how far they are from home.”
