Chennai, 07th July 2025: Demonstrating a powerful commitment to compassionate healthcare, G Square Realtors has signed a transformative Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with the Rotary Club of Chennai Carnatic to establish G Square Uyir Maiyam, a state-of-the-art Kidney Dialysis Centre in Chennai. This pioneering facility is envisioned to provide dignified renal care to the economically underprivileged.
Driven by G Square’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and the Rotary Club’s legacy of community service, Uyir Maiyam aims to deliver not just treatment—but hope and dignity. The centre will be operated by the Uyir Maiyam Foundation, a dedicated non-profit platform created to ensure the project’s long-term sustainability, transparency, and impact.
Bala Ramajeyam, Founder and Managing Director of G Square Realtors, said, “We are proud to be part of a project that not only saves lives but also sets a benchmark in its social impact. Uyir Maiyam is more than a healthcare facility—it’s a commitment to dignity, access, and compassion. Dialysis is a life-sustaining treatment, yet for many low-income and BPL families, the cost and frequency make it nearly impossible to manage.
Through this initiative, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Chennai Carnatic and under the CMCHIS Health Insurance Scheme, we’re ensuring that critical care is no longer out of reach for those who need it the most.
As part of our CSR efforts, G Square is proud to help establish a top-notch centre that provides free, high-quality dialysis backed by expert staff, RO infrastructure, and reliable support systems. We believe that no one should suffer for lack of access to treatment. Uyir Maiyam is a step in that direction—and with time, we aim to evolve it into a full-fledged kidney transplant centre to serve even more lives in need.”
Commenting on the partnership, Rtn. Arun Kumar Mahadevan, President, Rotary Club of Chennai Carnatic, said, “This collaboration reflects our deep commitment to community well-being. With G Square’s invaluable support, Uyir Maiyam will significantly improve access to life-saving dialysis care for those who need it the most. The centre will be a vital support system for low-income group patients who otherwise struggle to afford regular dialysis treatments.”
Uyir Maiyam is not merely a healthcare facility—it is a movement with plans to evolve into a comprehensive Renal and Liver Transplant Centre through hospital partnerships, ethical care, and sustained support for thousands. This milestone reflects a shared vision of socially responsive infrastructure rooted in the principle of ‘Saving Lives, Serving Dignity.’
