
Foodlink organizes a Blood Donation Drive in association with Tata Memorial Hospital
Mumbai, August 2022: For the noble cause of saving lives by donating blood, – Foodlink F&B Holdings India Pvt. Ltd. organized a blood donation camp in association with Tata Memorial hospital on 12th August 2022, held at Oasis Banquet Deonar. The initiative was undertaken to cater to the blood requirement needs of the Cancer patients of Tata Memorial Hospital. This is the second collaboration of Foodlink with Tata Memorial Hospital since 2019.
Foodlink runs restaurants in Chembur, China Bistro, India Bistro & Art of Dum where customers were sensitized about the drive.
In the blood donation drive, employees of Foodlink and the local residents of Chembur participated. As a token of appreciation, a certificate was given to all the participants including the essential details.
Speaking on the blood donation initiative Mr. Sanjay Vazirani, CEO, Foodlink F&B Holdings India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Corporate social responsibility has always been an integral part of our beliefs and we continuously engage in activities to contribute to the wellbeing of the society. The blood donation initiative was conducted to raise public awareness about the need for blood donation. I would like to thank each and everyone who has stepped forward and donated blood to save lives.”
Foodlink company plans to continue this noble deed of saving lives every year and making people aware of the importance of donating blood which will not only help the people in need but will also be a blessing for the blood donor.
