Bhuvan Bam Unveils Sarkar, A New Premium Indian Fragrance Brand Built Around Craft and Character

Mumbai, August 01: In a category increasingly shaped by evolving consumer expectations, Sarkar enters as a new Indian fragrance brand built on a simple philosophy: presence over noise. Quietly developed over nearly three years by actor and entrepreneur Bhuvan Bam alongside Neel Gogia, Rohit Raj and Jag Chima, Co-Founder of IPLIX Media, the brand brings together thoughtful craftsmanship, premium formulations and a long-term vision for modern perfumery.

Rather than treating the brand as a promotional vanity project, the four co-founders built it as a long-term study in craftsmanship. The ambition is clear: bridge the gap between mass-market body sprays and hyper-inflated niche luxury, delivering thoughtfully formulated, high-concentration unisex perfume made for modern life. With prices ranging from ₹1,000–2,000, the collection aims to make premium, parfum-strength fragrances more accessible to Indian consumers. It’s grounded, polished, and tailored for people who prefer their signature scent to linger rather than shout.

Built for the Long Haul:

The brand’s rollout reflects an evolving Indian consumer—one who values liquid quality, bottle design, and understated sophistication over flashy marketing.

Sarkar was never about creating a fragrance brand for a moment. It was about building a brand with a distinct identity and a long-term vision. Fragrance has always been a powerful form of expression, and we wanted to create something that people connect with because of what it represents. Every decision, from the brand identity to the fragrances themselves, has been shaped by patience, intention and attention to detail,” said Bhuvan Bam, Actor & Creator, Co-Founder, Sarkar.

The debut collection introduces four signature perfumes: Orion, Noble, Throne and Regal, each designed as a distinct expression of personality, mood and occasion. Every fragrance is a perfume with a 25% oil concentration, is IFRA-compliant, and has been developed through extensive formulation, testing and refinement. Orion, Noble and Throne are formulated in France, while Regal is formulated in Spain.

“For years, the fragrance market has largely been defined by two ends of the spectrum—products built for scale and products built for exclusivity. We felt there was room for a fragrance house that could bridge that gap without compromising on quality, formulation or experience. Sarkar has been built with a long-term vision, where the product leads every decision. Our ambition isn’t simply to launch a brand, but to build one that earns lasting consumer trust through consistency, craftsmanship and thoughtful innovation,” said Neel Gogia, Co-Founder of IPLIX Media, Layers and Sarkar.

Fragrance is one of the most personal forms of storytelling. It becomes part of someone’s identity long after they’ve left the room. For Bhuvan, who has always connected with people through memorable characters and storytelling, building a fragrance house felt like a natural extension of that journey,” said Rohit Raj, Co-Founder, BBKV Productions and Sarkar.

“Creating these fragrances was about finding the right balance between character, craftsmanship and wearability. Each expression needed to have its own identity while still feeling like part of the same house. Our focus was on creating fragrances that are distinctive, memorable and carefully crafted,” said Jag Chima, Co-Founder, IPLIX Media and Sarkar.

The collection is now available on the brand‘s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
