
Mumbai, Jan 16: Bank of India’s Mumbai North Zone recently organised the NRI Meet titled “Pravasi Sampark” with the objective of strengthening engagement with Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers and gaining deeper insights into their banking, investment, and remittance needs.
The event was graced by the presence of the Bank’s senior leadership including Shri Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO; who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was conducted under the supervision of Shri Prashant Thapliyal, Chief General Manager, Shri Sunil Sharma, Chief General Manager (Resource), and Shri Amit Ranjan Singh, Zonal Manager, Mumbai North Zone
The programme commenced with an inaugural and welcome address by Shri Amit Ranjan Singh, Zonal Manager, Mumbai North Zone, who highlighted the Bank’s strong commitment towards delivering world-class banking solutions to the NRI community.
The meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from NRI customers. Senior officials of the Bank interacted closely with the participants and addressed queries related to NRE/NRO deposit schemes, remittance services, digital banking solutions, housing loans, and other specialised NRI-focused products.
Addressing the gathering, the Bank’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to providing seamless, secure, and customer-centric banking solutions to the global NRI community. The interactive sessions enabled participants to share valuable feedback and suggestions, further strengthening long-term relationships with the Bank.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shri Ashawani Kumar Negi, Deputy Zonal Manager, Mumbai North Zone, who expressed sincere appreciation to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, participants, and organising team for making the event a success. The NRI Meet concluded on a pleasant note with a musical programme followed by dinner, offering an opportunity for informal interaction and networking among participants.
Bank of India, presently, has overseas presence in 15 foreign countries spread over 5 continents – with 47 branches/offices including 4 Subsidiaries, 1 Representative Office and 1 Joint Venture, at key banking and financial centres viz., Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Paris, New York, DIFC Dubai and International Banking Unit (IBU) at GIFT City Gandhinagar.
The programme concluded on a cheerful note with dinner and a musical performance, fostering warm engagement and reinforcing Bank of India’s strong and enduring relationship with its NRI customers.
