Hyderabad, Jan 20: KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, today inaugurated its Central Regional Office, marking a significant step in strengthening its presence across some of India’s fastest-growing urban markets. The office, headquartered in Hyderabad, was inaugurated by Philippe Delorme, President and CEO, KONE, along with Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE India & South Asia
The Central Region is KONE India’s fifth operational region, joining the North, South, East, and West regions. From its Hyderabad headquarters, the Central Regional Office will serve a diverse and rapidly expanding market spanning Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, covering key cities such as Hyderabad and Warangal; Nagpur and Amravati; Bhopal and Indore; and Raipur.
This regional structure brings leadership, engineering, service, and digital capabilities closer to customers, enabling faster decision-making, stronger local execution, and deeper customer engagement across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and public-sector projects.
The Central Region represents a dynamic mix of established metros, emerging commercial hubs, and infrastructure-led cities, each contributing uniquely to India’s urban growth story. From high-rise residential developments and IT parks to healthcare facilities, retail destinations, and transport infrastructure, demand for safe, reliable, and sustainable vertical mobility solutions continues to rise across the region.
