2nd April 2025, Agartala, Tripura: The Odisha festival “Utkal Divas 2025″ has been celebrated by the members of Odi Samaj Tripura with great joy and vigour in the capital city of Agartala, Tripura with kind presence of His Excellency Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, as Chief Guest of the occasion and Shri Sanjiv Kumar Janjua, ED- Asset Manager, ONGC Tripura Asset.

The programme begin with National Anthem, lighting of the lamp, offering flowers on lotus feet of Lord Jagannath, and Santipath, opening state song Vande Utkal Janani performed by the Ladies Group of Odia Samaj and felicitation to guests.
Shri Bishnu Charan Pati, President, welcome the distinguished guest, followed by report reading by Dr Rabindra Kumar Mahapatra the Secretary, Odia Samaj, Tripura, speech by Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mishra, advisor, and Shri Rabindra Kumar Samal, Patron, Odia Samaj. Guest of honour Shri Sanjuv Kumar Janjua. The chief guest addreded the gathering and praised the rich heritage and culture of Odisha and brave deed of Odias and work Odia Samaj Tripura, promoting the culture of Odisha. Guest of honour Shri Janjua in his address appraise the benovelent works of Odia Samaj Tripura. The meeting ended with Vote of thanks tendered by Shri Premananda Nath Sharma, Advisor, Odia Samaj Tripura. Honour of Priya Odia award given to Prof. Rabindra Kumar Mahapatra, Secretary Odis Samaj Tripura. The cultural programme Odissi and Sambalpuri performed by Sanskruti Dance Academy, Khurdha Bhubaneswar, Odisha, lead by Guru Rashimi Ranjan Nayak along with the performances by odia student from Tripura University, the children of Odia Samaj Tripura and odia children of tea garden of Laxmilunga lead by guru Shiuli Adhikari.
The program attended by invited Odia people residing in Tripura tea garden at Laxmilunga, Simna, Fatilchera, Bamutia, Dharmatila, Mekhilipara, members of Odia Samaj Tripura and their family& children and friends, odia students from NIT, Central Sanskrit University and Tripura University, Agartala, Odia people working in Tripura, and general public.
About 500 people attended the program.
