LONDON, Feb 20, 2025 — Licel has announced that its pioneering mobile application protection product, DexProtector, has been evaluated and approved by EMVCo under the SBMP SPT category for the fifth year in a row.

The first mobile software protection solution to achieve this EMVCo approval, DexProtector has been leading the way and helping to define what mobile app protection should look like for more than a decade now. Being evaluated and approved by EMVCo* for the fifth consecutive year is a testament to the product’s consistency and reliability in preventing a wide range of threats, like tampering and reverse engineering.
This latest certificate also reflects the determination of the Licel team to provide proven solutions to cybersecurity challenges facing app developers, as Licel CEO Ivan Kinash explains:

As was the case when Licel recently became the first company to achieve dual-platform Android and iOS approval for their vTEE solution under EMVCo’s SBMP TEE category, it was the Barcelona-based lab, Applus+ Laboratories, who were responsible for the evaluation.
