TITUSVILLE, Fla./Jan 21—The City of Titusville has extended its partnership with SwiftGov®, an AI-powered government permitting platform operated by Swiftbuild.ai, following a successful pilot program that processed 132 real-world development projects. The decision comes as Florida’s Space Coast experiences unprecedented growth, with a record 109 rocket launches in 2025 and major aerospace investments reshaping the regional economy.

Titusville sits at the epicenter of this transformation. Lockheed Martin recently broke ground on a $140-million manufacturing facility in the city, expected to create 300 high-paying jobs. With up to 120 launches projected for 2026, including NASA’s historic Artemis II crewed lunar mission, the demand for predictable, efficient development review has never been greater.

AI as operational infrastructure

SwiftGov’s AI Rule Engine is now embedded directly into Titusville’s development review workflows, supporting planning, zoning, landscaping and engineering reviews. In engineering alone, the system evaluates approximately 250 regulatory rules, each with multiple chapters, sections and subsections, delivering approximately 80% accuracy as a decision-support tool.

The AI does not automate approvals or replace professional judgment. Instead, it accelerates how staff identify applicable regulations, surface potential compliance issues and maintain consistency across reviews.
