Co-organized by AI Alliance, the conference will combine traditional presentations by international AI experts with new interactive formats
September 4, 2025, Vladivostok: AI Journey 2025, an international conference on artificial intelligence, will be held in Moscow between November 19 and 21, First Deputy Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board Alexander Vedyakhin said at the 10th Eastern Economic Forum.
Alexander Vedyakhin, first deputy chairman of the Executive Board, Sberbank:
“AI Journey rightly ranks among the world’s largest and most significant AI events. Last year, it featured over 200 speakers from various countries, including India and China. This year, the conference reaches a new level. We are already seeing the results of the International Artificial Intelligence Alliance formed at last year’s conference. Working with scientists from different nations, we conducted a series of foresight sessions where key directions for fundamental AI research were outlined. This forward-looking approach enables more accurate prioritization, resource optimization, and anticipation of challenges. I’m confident that the forum will lead to important international decisions and announcements of groundbreaking discoveries in generative intelligence for creating a brighter tomorrow.”
Over the course of three days, leading global researchers, scientists, businesses, and member states will convene at AI Journey to discuss recent AI trends and industry outlooks. A focal point of the conference will be summarizing the outcomes of the AI Horizons foresight sessions, which have taken place in various countries worldwide since the beginning of 2025 under the auspices of the AI Alliance Network, an international AI alliance.
The conference will retain continuity in its themes: each of the three days will be devoted to AI in science, business, and society. The Scientific Day will bring together top researchers from around the globe to discuss the role of AI in modern science and share their vision for future synergy. The special youth track, AIJ Junior, a traditional element of the program, will broaden its audience this year and adapt to accommodate a wider age range of participants.
Presentations within the business program will focus on both practical and strategic aspects of technology implementation for creating, developing, and enhancing company efficiency. Participants will gain insights for their own projects and familiarize themselves with advanced global practices in AI use.
This year’s Society program has become even more diverse. It will appeal to both experienced AI professionals and those just discovering artificial intelligence technology. Participants will learn about the practical benefits of AI at both a national scale and everyday life, as well as the challenges that need to be addressed in this domain.
Traditionally, winners of competitions held concurrently with AI Journey will be awarded at the conference: AI Challenge for participants under 25 years old and AIJ Contest for experienced professionals. Results of the open selection of scientific articles, AIJ Science, will also be announced. AI Journey will follow its customary hybrid format — both offline and online — and will feature new interactive formats marking the anniversary of the event.
AI Journey is an annual international conference that gathers leading AI professionals. It is dedicated to AI designs, their impact on scientific achievements, economic growth, societal life, and the promotion of innovative technology among young people.
