Built for stable 24/7 operation in outdoor setups, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI is AAEON’s first PICO-SEMI Mini PC to support both a broad 9V to 36V power input range and fanless operation.

(Taipei, Taiwan – Feb 10) Industry-leading provider of embedded solutions AAEON (Stock Code: 6579) has announced the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B, a compact Mini PC measuring a modest 140mm x 100mm x 43mm.
Powered by either the Intel® Processor N97 or Intel® Core™ i3-N305 Processor (formerly Alder Lake-N), the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B has an efficient foundation, emphasized by a rugged design for reliable performance in embedded applications, particularly within telecommunications infrastructure such as cell towers.
Built for stable 24/7 operation in outdoor setups, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B is AAEON’s first PICO-SEMI Mini PC to support both a broad 9V to 36V power input range and fanless operation, enhancing reliability in variable power environments. The system also boasts a wide -40°C to 50°C temperature tolerance, again making it an attractive option for integration with outdoor setups. AAEON also notes the system is equipped with a lockable DC jack, reinforcing deployment stability in such settings.
In addition to its power-efficient selection of CPUs, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B is compliant with EU Regulation No. 617/2013, ensuring energy efficiency and low power consumption. Illustrating this is its low average power draw of 2.43A at 12V.
To meet the needs of its target market, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B provides wireless expansion options via an M.2 2230 E-Key and mini PCIe slot. Meanwhile, the PC’s physical interfaces support a variety of industrial and telecom application needs through the presence of both 2.5GbE and 1GbE LAN ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, and two COM ports for RS-232/422/485.
Weighing just 1.55 lb (0.7 kg) and available with both wall and DIN rail mounting kits, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B is lightweight and easily deployed across a number of different setups.
For OS support, the PICO-ADN4-SEMI Rev.B is compatible with Windows® 10 and 11 and Ubuntu 22.04.2 (Kernel 5.19).
