New Delhi, Jan 09: The National Design Centre (NDC) is set to host SANRACHNA Indian Handmade Expo 2026, a vibrant showcase of India’s rich handmade and craft heritage. The expo provides a national platform for artisans, weavers, and craft communities from across the country, highlighting traditional craftsmanship as a driver of cultural preservation and sustainable livelihoods.

Scheduled from 10th to 18th January 2026 at Handloom Haat, Janpath, New Delhi, SANRACHNA will transform the heart of the capital into a lively hub of looms, chisels, needles, and timeless traditions. More than an exhibition, it is a gathering of voices shaped by patience, resilience, and inherited wisdom.

The expo celebrates the heartbeat of every handmade creation—a village, a family, and a legacy waiting to be rediscovered. It is a space where craft sparks conversation and artistry shapes identity.

Highlights of SANRACHNA  Indian Handmade Expo 2026 include:

  • Handicrafts reflecting devotion and skill

  • Handlooms that narrate folklore through fabric

  • Jute products championing sustainability

  • Home décor inspired by cultural heritage

  • Thoughtful, meaningful gifts

  • Textiles that breathe tradition

Organized in association with the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), NIFT, NABARD, National Jute Board, and Satyam Fashion Institute, the expo positions craftsmanship beyond commerce, emphasizing artisans as custodians of knowledge passed through generations. Each creation reflects skill, labour, and cultural continuity.

SANRACHNA offers an immersive experience for media professionals, cultural practitioners, buyers, designers, and conscious citizens, functioning as a living museum where tradition engages with contemporary relevance. By foregrounding authenticity and skill, the expo underscores a simple idea: when craftsmanship is nurtured, design gains purpose, and tradition finds a sustainable future.
