NMIMS Indore campus successfully hosted its sixth annual cultural fest, NMOTSAV’26, from January 15 to 17, 2026. Organized by Sangam, the cultural committee of NMIMS Indore, the three-day extravaganza was a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and community. Packed with engaging competitions, fun games, interactive learning experiences, and electrifying performances, NMOTSAV’26 provided students with a dynamic platform to showcase talent while fostering collaboration and innovation.
The first day kicked off with a campus-wide treasure hunt designed to promote bond building and teamwork. The students eagerly put on their detective hats to participate in games like ‘Case Unsolved’ and ‘Traitors’. One of the main highlights of the day was ‘Stage It!’ – an exciting talent show where the students showed off their skills, no matter how spontaneous or unique. Putting their strength, stamina, and endurance to the test, students took part in challenges like ‘Squid Games’ and ‘Motion Mania’. The traditional sac race and bingo bonanza were also crowd favourites. There was also the Khel Mela, a vibrant gaming zone, Haat Bazaar, a commercial marketplace, and Foodpreneur, a dedicated food stall for budding food entrepreneurs, all of which remained open throughout the day for the participants to enjoy. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dilip Joshi.
Day two really brought the beats alive with ‘Drop the Dhol’ – a vibrant celebration of Indian festivity and rhythm. Students were dressed in traditional attire, dancing their hearts out to the beats. As the evening approached, the music seamlessly transitioned into electrifying music and power-packed stage performances, turning the night into an experience of nonstop rhythm and high spirits.
The last day marked one of the major highlights of this three-day fest an electrifying concert night. Nikhita Gandhi took to the stage and delivered her famous hits, which got the crowd grooving and dancing. Another standout highlight of NMOTSAV’26 was the Desi Runway, a ramp walk that celebrated fashion, style, creativity, and confidence. Blending traditional attire with modern elements, Kalayana 4.0 truly delivered on their promise by showcasing captivating, energetic, and memorable fashion.
“NMOTSAV 2026 beautifully captures the concept of learning beyond the classroom. From problem-solving challenges to team-building exercises, this is where our students understand the true meaning of collaborative learning. This fest not only builds confidence and character, but also helps build lifelong friendships,” believes Mr. Arvind Banthia.
“Watching our students express themselves through collaboration, creativity, and culture, is truly what NMOTSAV is all about. Seeing them push themselves to high standards every day – nurturing creativity, working hand-in-hand, and building stronger bonds – is what this fest is all about,” shared Shri Ajay Bankda.
Dr. Anshuman Jaswal, Director of NMIMS Indore, commented, “NMOTSAV 2026 is a celebration of culture, creativity, and community. This event, which is held annually at NMIMS Indore, allows our students to showcase their unique talents and exhibit their skills. We are honoured to have Dilip Joshi as our Chief Guest and we whole heartedly thank him for gracing this occasion with his presence. One of the defining highlights of this event was the electrifying performance by one of India’s finest singers, Nikhita Gandhi. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the budding chefs who showcased their skills at Foodpreneur. The resounding success of NMOTSAV 2026 was driven by dedication and collaboration, with due credit to the Sangam team and the two mentors, Shri Arvind Banthia and Shri Ajay Bankda. A special note of appreciation is also extended to the distinguished Chief Guest, Dilip Joshi, a popular Indian actor, whose presence brought immense honour to the event.
