Kochi, Jan 24: The Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters 2026, South India’s Biggest literary festival, is set to dazzle audiences with Live Music Evenings at the iconic Nishagandhi Auditorium, 7.30 pm onwards. Over 3 nights, festival goers will experience a vibrant mix of musical genres blending contemporary sounds, folk roots, and global influencers.

Program Schedule:

  • Jan 30th, 2026: Playback singer Naresh Iyer joins guitarist-composer Vijay Ganesan and vocalists Srikant Hariharan and Aparna Harikumar for a genre-blending performance.
  • Jan 31st, 2026: Kerala band Thakara presents folk-fusion rhythms with a contemporary twist.
  • 01ST Feb 2026: Shanka Tribe, featuring singer-songwriter Neha Nair, delivers a high-energy mix of electronic, tribal, and live instrumentation.

Each evening promises to be a musical journey, with performances to enthral, inspire and connect audiences from all walks of life. The festival aims to blend artistic excellence with cultural celebration, making MBIFL evenings a highlight of the literary festival.
