Pipavav, Gujarat – June 20, 2025 – In its continued efforts to nurture learning, creativity, and community engagement among rural children, APM Terminals Pipavav successfully conducted a dynamic and enriching summer camp across several villages in the Amreli district. The initiative engaged over 700 students and 280 community members, creating a vibrant environment of fun-filled learning.
The summer camp was held across nine villages including Rampara, Bherai, Shiyalbet, Kadiyali, Devpara, Pipavav, Diwalo, Thavi, and Padar. The carefully curated program introduced students to a mix of educational, artistic, and scientific activities. Children participated in drawing, calligraphy, clay modelling, leaf-book creation, and do it yourself (DIY) projects such as rocket launching and glider making. Special emphasis was laid on science education, with activities like math puzzles, model-building, videos, and a community-level science exhibition.
One of the key highlights was an awareness rally on World Environment Day, where students carried eco-conscious messages across their villages. The program also included a tree plantation drive, encouraging students to take an active role in environmental conservation.
Parents and teachers expressed overwhelming appreciation for the initiative. Parents and village leaders lauded the activities and exhibition for enabling students to understand concepts through live models, while school principals and students shared how the camp deepened their interest in science, teamwork, and language learning.
The camp reaffirmed APM Terminals Pipavav’s commitment to inclusive education, community development, and environmental awareness at the grassroots level.
