• Electric Vehicle (EV) Design Engineer: Designs core EV components, including the vehicle’s body, chassis, and electric powertrain. This role requires expertise in mechanical or automotive engineering and proficiency with CAD software like CATIA or SolidWorks.

• EV Battery Engineer: Focuses on designing, developing, and manufacturing battery systems. Specific tasks can include thermal management strategies, quality control of lithium-ion cells, and validation testing.

• Power Electronics Engineer: Develops the power systems that convert and control electrical energy in EVs, including inverters, converters, and battery control systems. This role demands knowledge of electrical engineering, power systems, and semiconductors

• EV Charging Infrastructure Engineer: Designs, optimizes, and installs charging networks. They work with electrical systems, grid integration, and charging protocols like OCPP.

• Embedded Software Engineer: Develops the software and firmware for an EV’s various embedded systems, including the Battery Management System (BMS), vehicle control units (ECUs), and infotainment systems.

• EV Service Technician: Handles the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electric vehicles. Technicians need strong skills in electrical systems, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting EV components like battery packs and motors.

• Manufacturing Production Manager: Oversees the entire production process, from assembly line operations to quality control. This role is crucial for ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.

• EV R&D  : R&D professionals are driving innovation in EVs  from battery technology and motor efficiency to lightweight design and thermal management. With global automakers setting up R&D hubs in India, demand is rising for engineers skilled in powertrains, energy storage, and simulation tools.

• Data Scientist/Analytics: Collects and analyzes data from EVs and charging stations to optimize fleet performance, predict user behavior, and manage energy consumption. This role uses AI and predictive analytics to inform decision-making. For safety improvisation and product innovation.

• EV Sales Executive: Identifies and engages potential customers for electric vehicles. These professionals need strong knowledge of EV technology to explain benefits and guide buyers through the sales process.
