Om Logistics celebrates Driver’s Day by organizing health check-ups and training camps

India, September 19 – Om Logistics recently organized Driver Day camps in 12 cities, including Binola, Kanpur, Bangalore, Jamalpur, Manesar, Jaipur, Pune (Mahalunge), Dewas, Rudrapur, Jamshedpur, Dankuni and Bhiwandi. These events were held to recognize and honor the contributions of drivers to the logistics industry. This initiative brought together a total of 500+ participants for an engaging session focused on health and road safety awareness.

The camps aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye care, road safety and driver wellness while also encouraging professional development. By offering health resources and training, Om Logistics emphasized the essential role drivers play in keeping goods moving smoothly across India.

Drivers participated in educational sessions led by trained optometrists on eye and ear care. They learned about common vision problems such as refractive errors, cataracts and glaucoma and were encouraged to adopt healthy eye-care habits, including regular checkups. Medical services such as spectacles were also provided along with the test, demonstrating Om Logistics’ commitment to drivers safety and well-being. The event also focused on road safety, providing drivers with valuable insights into safe driving practices.

This initiative was further supported by a partnership with Eicher Mobile Van, which collaborated with Om Logistics to organize and facilitate the camps, marking a joint effort to enhance driver safety and well-being across India. Looking ahead, Om Logistics plans to host similar Driver Day celebrations in other regions to continue promoting driver safety and health initiatives.
